Moonlight Basin, which neighbors Big Sky Resort, is another ideal lodging choice. It offers joint lift tickets with Big Sky Resort; has 80 mapped trails, glades, and chutes; and has over 1900 acres of terrain for skiing. If you’re staying at either resort, you might want to check out the Lone Peak Lift, one pass to this lift will grant you access to 5300 acres of interconnected lifts and trails! The Lone Peak tram will take you to the peak of this mountain (yes, over 11,000 feet!), where you may catch views of Yellowstone National Park as well as the Tetons.
